There are still differences among the 3 races here after more than 50 years, so I guess no worries, Shantanu :-)Bee Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12698228960790388835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20340516.post-37766411671564598082007-11-05T09:40:00.000+05:302007-11-05T09:40:00.000+05:30@zhu: I understand what you mean. Paradoxically, we want variety, and therefore would like immigration that allows different cultures to mingle and co-locate ( a world village to use your phrase). However, the long time effect of this will be an homogeneous environment, where there are no more big differences between peoples of different places.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20340516.post-27956612439818020932007-11-04T07:01:00.000+05:302007-11-04T07:01:00.000+05:30We're on the same subject tonight!I still support ...We're on the same subject tonight!

I still support a word "village" and I'm really comfortable with seeing my culture change because of (thanks to?) immigration.

I don't really understand people who want an homogeneous society to be honest...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20340516.post-770149212551356992007-11-04T00:33:00.000+05:302007-11-04T00:33:00.000+05:30@rennyba: I would expect so given how close your t...@rennyba: I would expect so given how close your two countries are.

@anil p: Absolutely!
