Moving to France?
Here are some invaluable tips from the New York Times' Paris bureau chief.
Here's #3 on the list: The customer is always wrong! It is hard for French merchants to admit they are wrong, and seemingly impossible for them to apologize. Instead, the trick is to somehow get the offended party to feel the mistake was his or her own.

NZ’s got the prettiest beaches for surfing. Not that I know surfing, but heck if I’m going to learn, I’m going to NZ! .. http://100percentpure.wordpress.com
If you’re going to Fiordland, you’ve got to catch an aerial view of the place. You can either take a float plane or helicopter. Also, don’t forget to take a walk on the Milford or Kepler tracks and stay at the huts overnight. It’s unforgettable. http://100percentpure.wordpress.com/
The customer thing is so true... I just got back from France yesterday and although I grew up there, I had an hard time to get used to rudeness and bad service again. That said, French are nice... just not when they work!
Where is sheep burning on the list? You cannot move to France without being tutored in sheep burning!
